Northlane truly launched themselves into the spotlight with the launch of Discoveries. Adrian's varying vocal style and deep lyrical content (which really makes you think) paired with the booming djent-influenced Northlane sound really makes this album stand out.
Since the release of the Hollow Existence EP in 2010, these guys made an immediate impact, but the release of Discoveries got a lot of well-deserved attention, and gave them the chance to tour with some very big names, such as August Burns Red, and Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen on their Atlas tour this December.
This is one of my favourite albums of this year, and quite possibly ever. I honestly can't think of a single flaw to this album. 10/10 would recommend.

Northlane are to me what Jesus is to Christians, what mass murder is to Al Qaeda, what world domination is to America, what Gandalf is to Frodo, what Ash is to Pikachu and what Kami-Sama is to Goku. Northlane are the one true light in darkness, they fill everyday with hope and joy. I can’t express my love for them in a way that you would understand.
