Requiem proves to be a pretty solid follow up to The Getaway Plan's much loved debut release, "Other Voices, Other Rooms". Coming off the back a an indefinite hiatus, TGP have brought their A-game with this record providing the soundtrack to 2011. Filled with melodic tunes and meaningful lyrics, this album doesn't fail to please both new and old fans alike with standout tracks including lead single "The Reckoning" as well as "Flying Colours" and "Phantoms".

This second effort from these Aussie lads does not fail to please both in record form and at a live show; it just goes to show that despite it all, these boys still have it and their fans are still loving it <3

What a follow up to The Getaway Plans Debut Album, "Other Voices, Other Rooms". The band came out of what was defined as an indefinite hiatus, to produce their best work yet. This is an incredibly well produced and written album. Listen for the many, many percussive parts throughout the disk. Stand out tracks include "Move Along" which is a powerful ballad beginning on piano, and the first single "The Reckoning" which builds up so intensely throughout the entire track. Buy this album - play it till the disk wears out, and then put it on your wall. You will not regret it.
