Each song's messages are vital to the meaning of this album collectively. They all speak about different point of views on the topic of 'suicide' and I think it's very touching and rewarding for people going through these thoughts to listen to this record.

IT IS AMAZING! Joel Birch is such a wonderful lyric writer, I Love how he can make such a brilliant album about how he tried to end his life.

Following the success of The Amity Affliction's 2010 release Youngbloods, there were high expections set for their next album.Chasing Ghosts more than exceeds these expectations. With heartfelt lyrics driven by regret, set over heavy breakdowns, this album steps it up a notch. The vocals are also a standout with conversations in the lyrics between dirty vocalist Joel Birch, and clean vocalist/bassist Ahren Stringer. Well worth it's price.

This record is amazing! It's definitely my number one favourite of 2012. It has a great mix because there's softer songs such as 'Life Underground; and 'Pabst Blue Ribbon On Ice' But they are still heavy and they do have breakdowns for people who are into that.

Then you have your songs like 'RIP Bon' and its just really heavy and fun to get into!

Not only does this record sound great, the lyrics are all painted in meaning. If you want a band that sings about something worth singing about, I advise you to buy this record and Youngbloods!

Definitely my favorite album of the year. The lyrics are so in depth and well thought out. Joel Birch is a lyrical and musical genius, no doubt. The Chasing Ghosts tour was also hands down the best shows I've ever been to, Amity and all the supports played so perfectly (minus Buried In Verona, who play quite well, but not amazingly). The whole band has so much appreciation for their fan base, they're all so grateful and this album is fucking genius. It hasn't come off repeat since the day it got released. I also have to highlight the cover art and also R.I.P Bon, for being my personal favorite track on the album. Other standout songs were Geof Sux 666, Open Letter, Chasing Ghosts, I Heart H.C & Life Undergroud, but I guess you've got it by now, the whole fucking album was absolute perfection.
