I'm not afraid to admit that I'm one of those guys who travels with a man-bag everywhere he goes. Trial Kennedy - New Manic Art

Melbourne's Trial Kennedy are such a good band it's ridiculous. Great musicians, sexy dudes, and more importantly, writers of some seriously good tunes. They've been around for many years, but recently released their debut full-length album New Manic Art, and with songs like "The Great Escape", "Neighbours" and the new single "Colour Day Tours", it is sure to brighten up your CD collection.

Coue Method - To Mock A Vapid World

Throughout the 90s, Melbourne's One Inch Punch (later known as Mid Youth Crisis) were the leaders of melodic punk in Australia. After a 10 year absence, three founding members have re-banded as Coue Method. Steve Milligan's distinct vocals are powerful and melodic, and Lombardi and McAnally's guitars sweep between the dissonant and uplifting.

"Recently returning to Melbourne after living in Ireland for several years, ex-Mid Youth Crisis frontman Steven Milligan has again been drawn towards writing lyrics driven by melody, underscored by pounding guitars and characterized by vigorous intent. Enlisting old friends in Adrian Lombardi (ex-MYC himself, and currently of Blueline Medic) and Heath McNally (ex-MYC), saw the beginnings of Coue Method take shape." - chaos.com
