Biography

August Burns Red is a Christian technical metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows around Lancaster. In 2004, the band was signed to CI Records and released an EP called Looks Fragile After All. After about another year of playing shows, the band was signed to Solid State Records in 2005 and released Thrill Seeker on November 8th of that year. They are still signed with Solid State.
The band has toured with bands such as Ringworm, Demiricous, Ligeia, Terror, Bury Your Dead, Scars of Tomorrow, Sinai Beach, Nodes of Ranvier, The Showdown, Project 86, Haste the Day, Between the Buried and Me, Chiodos, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Zao, Demon Hunter, Spoken, and Becoming the Archetype
They are currently on Youngbloods II Tour with The Chariot, Inhale Exhale, Twelve Gauge Valentine, and Destroy the Runner.
