 As luck would have it, Bow and Davis have some free recording time up their sleeves, but no drummer and bass player. Richard and Peter were happy to assist and a new rock group was born. Entry in the 1992 Sydney University band competition gave the chaps their first opportunity for public showing off, and the need for a name. Thus, Front End Loader was chosen as a ridiculous, strictly temporary title, until something better came up. Ha! As it turned out, the newly named FEL made the final, along with a scruffy bunch of local louts named Frenzal Rhomb. |
