Hailing from New Fairfield, Connecticut, Emmure brings a certain freshness to the table that has become unparalleled in todays underground music scene. Knowing all they have to offer, Emmure has never stopped pushing themselves to create the most below the belt extreme music they possibly can. Experiencing their fair share of adversity, Emmure has only grown stronger and more intense over time. Constantly winning over new fans and friends with their tight and brutal live performance as well as massive word of mouth exposure,Emmure looks to further the definition of heavy and continue on broadening their fan base by playing shows non stop
Formed in April of 2003 as Frankie Palmeri (vocals) Ben Lionetti (Guitar) Joe Lionetti (Drums) Dan Steinler (Bass), with the addition of Jesse Ketive on guitar and Mark Davis taking the place of Dan Steinler on bass in Late 2004. With a few demo’s being released between 2004/2005 and a astounding reputation being built for the live performance and unique brand of extreme metalcore , Emmure knew it was time to bring something to the table that would make there mark in this oversaturated hardcore and metal scene.
In winter of 2005 Emmure hooked up with Antoine Lussier of Ion Dissonance (Abacus Recordings) and made plan’s on recording what would be the band’s most anticipated self debut.
The 6 song E.P titled “The Complete Guide To Needlework” hit the streets in April of 2006 , with no delay Emmure took to the road pushing there D.I.Y masterpiece as hard and fast as they could.
With major touring in their stars and a E.P that has everyone talking, this New England band will no longer be over looked. Prepare to love it , have it , and want more of it.
